Artroskopie kolena (ASK) je miniinvazivní operační výkon (přístup do kloubu jen z malých přístupových ran v přední části kolena), který slouží k diagnostice a ošetření poraněných či jinak poškozených nitrokloubních struktur (menisků, zkřížených vazů, kloubní chrupavky apod.). Při ASK se používá kamera s optikou a pomocí nástrojů se ošetření nitrokloubní struktury. Výhodou této metody je především minimální zátěž pro pacienta a možnost ambulantního provedení výkonu bez nutnosti hospitalizace.
Arthroscopy of the knee (ASC) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure (access to the joint only from small access wounds in the anterior part of the knee) used to diagnose and treat injured or otherwise damaged intra-articular structures (menisci, cruciate ligaments, articular cartilage, etc.). ASC uses a camera with optics and instruments to treat the intra-articular structures. The main advantage of this method is the minimal burden on the patient and the possibility of performing the procedure on an outpatient basis without the need for hospitalization.
